The Ghana Women Entrepreneurship Summit (GWES) 2024 marked a significant milestone in empowering women entrepreneurs in Ghana. Held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at the Accra Digital Centre, the MSME Day event brought together an extensive group of 133 participants, including women entrepreneurs, industry experts, financial institutions, and stakeholders under the theme “Redefining Prosperity to Enhance Productivity.” The summit, organized by WERise Network, aimed to promote economic empowerment, boost productivity, and drive prosperity among women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The summit’s comprehensive program featured keynotes, panel discussions, product exhibitions and networking opportunities, all designed to address challenges faced by women entrepreneurs while providing insights and solutions to enhance business growth and productivity.

- Wellness and Productivity: The session “The Balancing Act: Stress and Productivity,” focused on how entrepreneurs can manage stress and increase productivity, which is essential for maintaining a sustainable business.
- Inspiring Youth Leadership: The “SheStories: Our Youth, Our Success” panel featured young entrepreneurs sharing their success stories, motivating the next generation of women leaders.
- Networking Opportunities: The event facilitated collaboration among attendees, offering opportunities for business partnerships and increased visibility for small enterprises.
- Exhibitions: At the MSME Day event organized by WERise Network, 13 women entrepreneurs took advantage of the opportunity to showcase their products, which included cosmetics, food items, and fashion apparel.
