The 2024 IWD brunch was to empower and equip Ghanaian women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, resources, and connections they needed to overcome unique challenges, unlock their full potential, and achieve sustainable business growth, recognizing the need for inclusion. These were to be achieved through:
- Accessibility and Inclusive Space: to provide a platform to intensify awareness on the promotion of accessible environments and inclusive spaces requiring infrastructure, services, and public spaces that guarantee full participation for Women Entrepreneurs in education, employment, and community engagement.
- Cooperative Alliances: to establish collaborations with disability advocacy groups, governmental entities, and businesses to jointly strive for the development of inclusive opportunities and environments.
- Digital Narrative Initiative: to initiate an online campaign to disseminate stories of resilient women, detailing the hurdles they have surmounted, and showcasing the affirmative influence of inclusion through a designated hashtag. Raise Awareness: to highlight the intersection of gender and entrepreneurship, promoting awareness about the unique challenges experienced by young Women Entrepreneurs and championing their inclusion across all facets of life.
